The welcome ceremony will be held at the central headquarters of the university, located in the historic building known as "Real Fábrica de Tabacos" in Sevilla. This industrial-type building was constructed in the mid-18th century and is recognized as a cultural heritage site and historical landmark in Spain. Among other aspects, it is well-known for providing inspiration for Bizet's famous opera Carmen, a cigar girl in this tobacco factory.
